1. Yunkai and Pentos
The recording was made in the walled city of Aït Ben Haddou in Morocco and is known as the “Moroccan Hollywood” because it has been the scene of other films such as Troy and Gladiator.The walled city is one of the most popular attractions and was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. The city walls and primitive houses make the perfect choice to be the city of Yunkai, known as the “Yellow City” in Game of Thrones.
